《Appreciation》Track 1 (English)
Brief | Written for life | Sub-genre: dance& electronic | Language: Chinese Mandarin
Arranged in the style of electronic dance music, with a steady, heartbeat-like kick drum groove that symbolizes the origin of life. The use of psychedelic synthesizer sounds represent the mysterious unknown during our search. Why did we come to this life? And why do we leave? The mysterious workings of intertwined “love and souls” is a topic much beyond the reach of science. We talk to ourselves in the depths of our hearts, experience life in the ups and downs, find balance between vulnerability and toughness, learn about ourselves through the love and pain we experience, master the challenges we encounter each stage, and finally become better versions of ourselves.

Lyrics
If we could meet,
I would recognize your spirit.
If we haven’t met,
It’s because the time hasn’t come.
After searching again and again,
We’ve finally come here again.
We traveled through centuries,
repeating the same familiar life lessons.
Even though there are only vague memories left,
I will keep seeking by following the shades.
Why did we come to this life?
Stumbling through mistakes, I’ve finally learned.
Following the sound of nature,
even if that requires swimming towards the ocean.
Though we’ve been hurt sometimes,
Still, there’s more about the world worthy for us to love.
Why do we leave this life?
I am getting older with time.
It’s a journey that isn’t long,
Seeking happiness is the purpose after all.
Though we’ve been hurt sometimes,
Let’s at least not forget how to love.
